第二十五章  道法自然
有物混成，先天地生。寂兮寥兮，獨(dú)立而不改，周行而不殆，可以為天地母。吾不知其名，字之曰道，強(qiáng)為之名曰大。大曰逝，逝曰遠(yuǎn)，遠(yuǎn)曰反。故道大，天大，地大，人亦大。域中有四大，而人居其一焉。
人法地，地法天，天法道，道法自然。

The Tao functions within the Natural Laws

There was an origin of enengy formless anf perfect

before the universe was born.

It is silent、vast、independent, and unchanging.

It may be regarded as the Mother of the universe.

I do not know its name, so I just call it the Tao. If forced to give it a name, I shall call it Great.

Now being great means transcendental power without boundary,  transcendental power without boundary means far-reaching. Being far-reaching to the extreme means returning to the original point.

Therefore, the Tao is Great. Heaven is Great. The Earth is Great. Humankind is Great. In the Universe there are these four things which are Great, And humankind is one of them.

Man follows the ways of the Earth. The Earth follows the ways of Universe, Universe follows the ways of Tao, The Tao functions within the Natural Laws.

在有形的物質(zhì)世界形成之前, 就有一個(gè)渾然一體的宇宙時(shí)空?qǐng)龃嬖诹?。這個(gè)渾然一體的宇宙時(shí)空?qǐng)黾澎o無(wú)聲，而廣闊無(wú)形， 它循環(huán)往復(fù)，永不停息。它就是宇宙萬(wàn)物本源，我也不知它的名字，就把它稱為“道”。勉強(qiáng)稱之為“大”，大就不斷的向外延伸，延伸而遙不可及，遙不可及至極又返回。道廣無(wú)邊際，由它衍生出的空間也大無(wú)邊際，人類賴以生存的地域廣大，賦有純宇宙意識(shí)能量的人類同樣是大。環(huán)宇間的四大之中，人類為其中之一。

人類依法于大地，大地依法于環(huán)宇，環(huán)宇依法于宇宙時(shí)空?qǐng)?，而宇宙時(shí)空?qǐng)鰟t按自有規(guī)律運(yùn)行。
